About LSP

Lake Superior Discovery Place is a not-for-profit, “grass-roots”, community based coalition of members and supporters who are, either personally or through the culture of their representative organizations, interested in the future of Thunder Bay and region's waterfront.

 

The people engaged in Lake Superior Discovery Place are working to develop a vision for waterfront development in Thunder Bay and the region.

 

Our long term goal is to create a four season, sustainable landmark facility which will create new hospitality, research and other private sector jobs and serve as a vehicle to the development of Thunder Bay's waterfront. In the short-term, we are also seeking regional partnerships to implement specific elements of our waterfront vision.
